The first time I visited, it was love at first sight. Welcoming owners, lush greenery in every direction, and aesthetic decor that looks like it belongs on a Pinterest mood board. And when I explored the grounds a little further, I found something I genuinely didn’t expect: a little mini animal farm, complete with chickens and an actual peacock. This place is a genuine soul reset — and it makes for the most magical, unexpected wedding photos.
Fazenda is a rural homestead (sodyba) located in the Kaišiadorys district, within easy reach of Kaunas. It’s a one-event venue — they host one celebration per day, which means the whole place is entirely yours.
Maistas ir maitinimas
One of the things that sets Fazenda apart is their kitchen philosophy: there is no fixed menu. Every meal is created seasonally and tailored individually to your preferences and dietary needs. This means your wedding menu will genuinely reflect what you want — not a set package from a laminated list.
Some dishes are prepared live in front of guests on a Kamado Bono ceramic grill, which becomes a little event in itself. Smoked fish, aged cheeses, house-cured meats — the beer snack table is something guests still talk about.
Food pricing starts from €60/person, which includes welcome snacks, the main course, and table water with sides. Table decoration for the dining area is also included.
Saldusis stalas
You’re welcome to bring your own dessert table — Fazenda has no restrictions on this. If you’d prefer to keep planning simple, they can also recommend trusted vendors they’ve worked with before.
Ceremonija
Fazenda offers a truly beautiful setting for your ceremony: a wooden terrace right at the river’s edge, framed by forest and deep green scenery on all sides. It’s the kind of spot where the backdrop does most of the work.
The terrace can be decorated to suit your wedding theme and personal style, with plenty of options to choose from. Ceremony terrace rental starts from €200, which includes terrace preparation, basic styling, and furniture setup. Floral arrangements, a ceremony arch, and additional decorative elements are priced separately.
If the weather turns, you can also hold the ceremony indoors — the main terrace is fully enclosed and heated, so rain isn’t a reason to panic.
Dekoracijos
Fazenda’s decor style can best be described as rustic-elegant: warm, natural, and full of small details that photograph beautifully. The venue’s own decorations are included in the package — think Edison bulbs, glass vases, candles, and botanical elements that work across both bohemian and classic wedding styles.
Larger elements like statement florals, textile draping, and specialty candle arrangements are available at an extra cost. The decor can be fully adapted to your theme, whether you’re going for an intimate garden ceremony aesthetic or something more lush and romantic.
Pramogos ir muzika
Fazenda is a rural outdoor venue — music carries differently in nature than in a closed hall. Sound restrictions apply from 11:00 PM, and the party can continue until 1:00 AM. Overtime is available at €150/hour.
For the earlier part of the evening, there are no restrictions on DJ equipment or live music, giving you real flexibility to create the celebration atmosphere you want.
The cocktail bar is one of Fazenda’s most popular add-ons. For €320 (7 hours of service), you get a fully styled bar with glassware, garnishes, ice, syrups, and non-alcoholic mixers — all the equipment needed for cocktails. The alcohol is supplied by the couple (which keeps costs flexible). A bartender can be added for €150.
Parkingas
Fazenda has a spacious on-site parking area right next to the celebration zone. It’s included in the rental price — free for all guests, no Green Zone or street parking drama.
Apgyvendinimas
One thing worth noting in advance: Fazenda does not offer overnight stays. The venue hosts one-day/one-evening events only. If you’re planning for guests coming from further away, it’s worth arranging nearby accommodation in Kaišiadorys or Kaunas in advance.
